You can delete your List Mantis account, and the data linked to it, at any time. It takes under a minute and you do not need to contact us.
In the app or on the web
- Open List Mantis on iPhone, Android or at listmantis.com and sign in.
- Go to Settings.
- Scroll to the bottom and choose Delete account.
- Type DELETE to confirm.
Your account is deleted straight away and you are signed out.
If you cannot sign in
Email hello@listmantis.com from the address on your account with the subject "Delete my account". We will confirm it is you and delete the account within 30 days, and usually much sooner.
What is deleted
- Your account details: email address, name, password and sign-in identifiers.
- Your saved searches, filters and locations.
- Your alerts and saved alerts.
- Your notification settings and device notification tokens.
These are removed from our live systems immediately. Any residual copies in backups are removed within 90 days.
What we keep, and for how long
- Payment and accounting records are kept for 6 years, as UK tax and accounting law requires. These are held by Stripe, Apple or Google and do not include your searches or alerts.
Subscriptions
- Subscribed on the web: your subscription is cancelled automatically when you delete your account.
- Subscribed through the App Store or Google Play: deleting your account does not cancel your subscription. Cancel it in your Apple or Google account first, or you will keep being charged. Apple: Settings, your name, Subscriptions. Google Play: Payments and subscriptions, Subscriptions.
Deleting some data without deleting your account
You can delete individual searches and alerts in the app at any time. For anything else, including a copy of your data, email hello@listmantis.com. See our privacy policy for your full rights.
